HR Council Meeting -
“Difference between leadership and management”
--------------------------------------------
Think about the leaders you look up to – they can make leadership look so easy, but it isn’t. We live in a world where most employees are promoted based on their functional expertise but then are often expected in their new role to manage and ultimately lead others. Are these folks naturally good managers or leaders? What is the difference between leadership and management?
Have you ever wondered?
• Other than my title, why should people follow me?
• What do smart leaders do?
• What is the best leadership style?
• Does genetics play a role in leadership – what influence do I have over this?
• How does emotional intelligence play a role?
Come and join us to discuss some of these mysteries.
