Active Shooter presentation done by Blue-U Defense
The Chamber’s Human Resources Council is bringing in Lt. Terry Choate and Detective Joe Hileman to provide you with personal safety skills that will assist you and your loved ones in any violent and traumatic incident. They will cover:- Understanding Violence
- How We React to a Sudden, Unplanned Incident of Violence
- How We Make Decisions
- How to Prepare to Make “Good Decisions in Fractions of a Second” No Matter What the Situation Is
- How to Win the Mental Game
- How Criminals Make Their Decisions and How They Choose Victims
- Practical Personal Defense Tips
The end result of this course will provide you with a base "mindset" and thought process that will keep you safe while you are away from work as much as it does while you are at work. This course will teach you the skills and techniques necessary to be far less likely a victim, as well as how to win if there is an attempt to make you a victim.
