SUMMARY:HR Council - Active Shooter Presentation
DESCRIPTION:Active Shooter presentation done by Blue-U Defense\n\n\n\nThe Chamber's Human Resources Council is bringing in Lt. Terry Choate and Detective Joe Hileman to provide you with personal safety skills that will assist you and your loved ones in any violent and traumatic incident. They will cover:\n\n	Understanding Violence\n	How We React to a Sudden\, Unplanned Incident of Violence\n	How We Make Decisions\n	How to Prepare to Make "Good Decisions in Fractions of a Second" No Matter What the Situation Is\n	How to Win the Mental Game\n	How Criminals Make Their Decisions and How They Choose Victims\n	Practical Personal Defense Tips\n\nAccording to Lt. Terry\, the key to survival in a sudden and traumatic incident is the ability to make the right decision in fractions of a second. You need a proper mindset based in preparation\, managing fear\, controlling your heart rate\, and understanding exactly not only what happens to you in such a situation\, but as importantly\, what happens to your adversary.
