Fire Truck Pull for Special Olympics Massachusetts
Teams will take turns playing Tug of War with a Fire Truck! Team prizes will be awarded for the various time-related accomplishments including the fastest overall cumulative pulls. Registration for the event is free but each team must raise a minimum of $500 by getting local business sponsors, donations from friends and family, etc. With up to 12 people on a team that isn't even $50 a person - easy! We will have extra prizes and other awards for teams who raise more than the $500 minimum! There will be event t-shirts, a DJ, food and lots of other fun elements so get registered, raise some money and answer the age old question - how fast can you and a team of your friends pull a fire truck 20 feet? The Fire Truck Pull is a fundraising event being staged under the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) program umbrella. The LETR program is an international fundraising and awareness building program that saw over 1,000 members of Massachusetts Law Enforcement raise more than $500,000 in 2015. Internationally, more than 85,000 officers raised $50 million for their local Special Olympics chapter.
