This program is designed for family members and professionals. Explore care options for aging parents or clients.
Whether you are a family caregiver or a professional who is guiding clients with care needs, this lunch and learn program will give you an overview of community based services and resources. We will review:
- Eligibility for certified home health services covered by Medicare or private insurances
- Private Home Care: What care do I need and how do I pay for it
- Adult Day Health Care as a cost effective option to help caregivers and families.
- Medical model adult day health services are a valuable tool for adults with dementia, multiple medical needs and for those seeking to delay long term care placement
In addition, we will also address:
- What services are covered by insurances and what is not?
- Does my long term care (insurance) cover services?
- Options to finance your care choices
- Are there other resources to pay for the care that is needed?
Don’t wait for a crisis to happen, take this time to learn about resources and ask the questions that are important to you.
