Preparing Students to Live and Work in the 21st Century
Focusing on the importance of skills in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM)
Invention and innovation have shaped and continues to shape American history and America’s role as a world leader. Each century requires that people learn new skills and knowledge to support the changes driven by invention and innovation. Living in the 21st Century, necessitates at least literacy in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) for people of all ages. In the workplace, STEM expertise expands career opportunities for individuals and sustains economic growth for businesses.
