Make It Your Business to Become Dementia Friendly Every day we encounter people in our community who are impacted by memory loss, Alzheimer's Disease, or another form of dementia. Many of us know someone personally going through this experience, or caring for an affected loved one. While coping with the progression of memory loss, many folks strive to stay active and independent for as long as possible, including your customers and visitors. Did you know there are specific ways you can successfully serve and support clients who have memory impairment? Whether you work in a restaurant, store, government office, school, church, agency, medical practice, law firm, bank, or anywhere else, you can practice helpful strategies to assist those with memory loss. Learn how at our free training for community professionals on Wednesday, May 8. Participants will receive a dementia friendly decal to display at their place of business. Bring a staff team or volunteers to help root the learning and begin to practice it together!
