DESCRIPTION:Help place memorial flags.\n\n \n\nInternational Overdose Awareness Day is a global day held every August 31 to remember the people we have lost to overdose\, to support the families who love them\, and to reduce the stigma around substance use disorder. \n\n \n\nSAFE Coalition is placing memorial flag displays in five towns\, and anyone can help. Each flag honors one of the 978 people who died from overdose in Massachusetts last year.\n\n \n\nVolunteers are needed for two shifts:\n\n\n	Place flags: Saturday\, August 29\, from 9 to 11 a.m.\n	Remove flags: Tuesday\, September 1\, from 9 to 10 a.m.\n\n\nDisplays will be in Franklin\, Wrentham\, Norfolk\, Medway\, and Millis. Volunteers choose their town when they sign up.\n\n \n\nThis work involves being outside and standing or bending for up to two hours. SAFE provides the flags.
