SUMMARY:Thanksgiving Baskets for Local Cancer Patients
DESCRIPTION:Tri-Town Chamber members the Joe Andruzzi Foundation (JAF)\, Hockomock Area YMCA\, and Personal Best Charity are teaming up in November to make sure cancer patients and families in our community have a Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings. They have the sides\, dessert\, and even delivery covered but they need the Chamber's help to ensure turkey and other perishables can be purchased.\n\nJAF helps cancer patients with everyday household expenses and food assistance while they are in treatment. Through its LIVESTRONG at the YMCA program\, the HockYMCA supports patients with their physical and emotional well-being after going through treatment. Personal Best Charity is the creator of the long-standing Turkey Brigades providing dinners to those facing food insecurity.
