Realizing that every small business\, SBIR awardee or not\, generates a wealth of information\, this event will help pre-award and awardees see beyond the numbers and shed light on useful data to provide guidance in making effective business decisions ranging from general strategy to development initiatives.\n\nSpeakers:      \n\nGeorge G. Moker\, CPA\n\nMoker CPA\, A Division of Ambrosi Donahue Congdon\n\nDirector of Entrepreneurship Programs at Suffolk University - Boston\n\nSpeaker Biography:\n\nGeorge is a certified public accountant (CPA) with more than 25 years in public accounting and commercial business. From his experience in helping awardees from all agencies\, he has developed training manuals\, workshops and seminars in the recordkeeping and reporting compliance areas of government contracting. George earned a master's degree in business administration (MBA) from Suffolk University where he currently serves as Director of Entrepreneurship Programs as well as being a member of the entrepreneurship faculty. George served in senior management positions in the private sector\, including roles as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations in an aerospace support company that provided metrology products and services to the Department of Defense and NASA. George has successfully assisted multiple companies in commercializing and growing their operations. One of his most notable success stories came when assisting his client SmartCells\, Inc. as they were acquired by Merck & Company\, Inc. for over $500 million. George continues to work with start-ups of various sizes and in various industries.\n\n \n\nKonstantin Izvolsky\, PhD  \n\nDirector of Consulting & Training\, Foresight Science and Technology\n\nSpeaker Biography:\n\nKonstantin trains and certifies Foresight consulting staff for market research and analysis work. He has a PhD in Physics and has more than 10 years of scientific experience in developmental\, molecular and cellular biology\, mouse genetics and human embryonic stem cell research from Boston University and Harvard University. He was the recipient of the Parker B. Francis Fellowship in Pulmonary Research. Prior to joining Foresight\, he was a fellow with the Office for Technology Licensing and Industry Collaboration at Tufts University.
