DESCRIPTION:Community Kwanzaa Celebration   December 19 at 3 PM\n\nMansfield\, Ma   Come share the seven principles of Kwanzaa at National Black Doll Museum of History & Culture. Honoring the foundation of building bridges between Africans and African Americans\, the Community Kwanzaa Celebration will showcase artists from our African and African American Communities to illuminate this Holiday through the performing arts of dance and music.  This year we have secured musical genius Phillip Govan bass guitarist as our headliner\, there will also be spoken word and dance performances of Kiana Thomas.  Entertainment is sponsored in part by Mansfield Bank and the local cultural councils of Foxboro\, Norton and Mansfield. Although admissions is free\, don't leave your wallets at home! A suggested donation is $10.00. There will be plenty of opportunities to pick up last minute gifts for the holidays in the museum's gift shop and with African vendor Amadu Butu. We'll also be raffling fully decorated table top trees or just Give the gift of culture.
