SUMMARY:Kennedy-Donovan Center Spring Celebration Gala
DESCRIPTION:Join the Kennedy Donovan Center on Saturday\, May 5\, 2018 for KDC's Spring Celebration Gala at Lombardos in Randolph!\n\nLast year's inspiring evening successfully raised a record-breaking $120\,000 and we hope you will help us reach our goal of $140\,000 this May 5th.\n\n \n\nWe are excited to announce our returning Co-Hosts Anthony Karamas and Brad Pineault\, KDC board members who embrace the mission of our founder\, Luella Hennessey Donovan established nearly 50 years ago. She was the private nurse of Joseph and Rose Kennedy\, whose daughter Rosemary had developmental disabilities. Their wish was to have a typical life for Rosemary which in-turn inspired Luella to open one of the first community based educational and therapeutic programs for young children. This would not have been possible without a generous three-year grant from the Joseph P. Kennedy Foundation.\n\n \n\nThe Spring Celebration Gala will feature silent and live auctions\, dinner\, dancing\, and a special video presentation along with other exciting twists. It is sure to be another inspiring evening where guests will help KDC provide additional resources\, flexibility with services\, and allow us to respond in a timely way to the needs of the children\, adults\, and families needing our services beyond what is covered in state contracts.
