John has thirty years experience working for fortune 200 manufacturing companies and is certified in the Toyota Production system by a Shingijutsu Sensei.\n\n \n\nJohn is the President/CEO for the Massachusetts Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MassMEP) where he leads a team of professional consultants in the delivery of growth strategies to improve top line while reducing cost. In the past year alone his team has led manufactures to $55 million increase in new sales and add 490 new jobs. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management with a minor in marketing.\n\n \n\n \n\nTom Andrellos\, Director of Growth Services\, MassMEP\n\n \n\nTom joined MassMEP after 32 years in senior level positions in high-tech manufacturing and global supply chain management. Tom's role at MassMEP is focused on several strategic programs\, business development and building the future growth services required to expand business opportunities in Massachusetts. Tom leverages funding and resource partners to deliver a positive impact to the SME's and the Massachusetts economy.\n\n \n\nMike Thompson\, Regional Manager\, Southeast Massachusetts\n\n \n\nMike is a hands-on professional with over thirty (30) years of experience in business and municipal management consisting of Sales\, Marketing\, new business development\, manufacturing operations\, contract negotiations\, financial management and customer relations.\n\n \n\nRich Sullivan\, Project Manager\, Strategic Initiatives\, Manufacturing USA\, MassMEP\n\n \n\nRich has held positions in engineering\, quality\, customer service and business development in organizations ranging from startups to Fortune 500\, across vertical markets such as manufacturing\, information technology\, and renewable energy. In his current role\, Rich explores applications for both emerging and existing technologies\, as well as identifying partnership opportunities among our many manufacturing clients.\n\n \n\nTaylor Warren\, Outreach Coordinator\, Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute\n\n\n\n\n\nTaylor has a Master's degree in Biochemistry from the University of New Hampshire. Following graduation\, she launched and managed a STEM Outreach program for high school students that focused on developing quantitative skills\, laboratory methods\, and encouraged students to pursue STEM careers. In this role\, Taylor helped to expand the program five-fold in just one year. She was also a High School Science Teacher\, where she led the design of a new curriculum to improve student comprehension\, integrate additional technological experiences\, create problem-based learning opportunities and increase exposure to STEM education.\n\nAt the Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute\, part of the Manufacturing USA innovation initiative\, Taylor coordinates outreach efforts to expose manufacturers and research organizations to the ARMI ecosystem in order to accelerate the advancement of production scale biofabrication technology.\n\n\n\n \n\nJeffrey N Roy\, Massachusetts House of Representatives\n\n\n\nState Representative Jeffrey N. Roy was first elected to the Massachusetts House of Representatives for the 10th Norfolk District in 2012. He was re-elected in 2014 and 2016 and was appointed Vice-Chair of the Committee on Health Care Finance. He is the House-Chair of the Manufacturing Caucus\, which promotes and encourages "Making It" in Massachusetts. He also serves as a member of the Committees on Export Development\; Mental Health\, Substance Use and Recovery\; and Municipalities and Regional Government. It is his great honor and privilege to represent the residents of Franklin and Medway on Beacon Hill.\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\nChristopher Gilrein\, Director of Business Development Massachusetts LIfe Sciences Center\n\n\n\nChris Gilrein joined MLSC in May of 2018. Chris is focused on exploring new economic development strategies for the Commonwealth's diverse regions to take advantage of the Center's programs and opportunities to fully participate in and contribute to the economic competitiveness of the life sciences ecosystem. Prior to joining the Center\, Chris spent several years working in the state legislature\, first as a Legislative Director and ultimately as Chief of Staff to former Senator Benjamin Downing. Most recently he served as Policy and Regulatory Manager for a community solar company\, developing legislation and representing the company's interests in state capitals throughout New England.
