SUMMARY:Annual Meeting Success & Service Awards
DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join the Tri-Town Chamber for a Celebration for our 29th Annual Meeting and Success & Service Awards. On Friday\, February 2\, 2018 at the gorgeous Renaissance Hotel at Patriot Place Foxboro.\n\n\n\nKeynote Speaker for Annual Meeting - Steve Gross is the Founder and the Chief Playmaker\, Life is Good Kids Foundation\nHe is a pioneer in utilizing playful engagement and meaningful relationships to overcome the devastating impact of trauma. In his inspiring and high energy presentation he teaches us how we can grow the good in ourselves\, the world and those around us\, while sharing how optimistic leaders and care providers bring out the best in people and organizations - especially in challenging\, change-filled times.\n\nThe Power of Optimism\n\nOptimism is powerful. When children grow to see the good in themselves\, the good in others and the good in their world - their social\, emotional\, cognitive and psychological superpowers emerge. However\, for the seeds of optimism to take root\, they must be nurtured. Sadly\, in toxically stressful environments filled with poverty\, violence and illness\, the seeds of optimism are weakened and often die.\n\nSteve's inspiring and high energy presentation teaches us how to access our own superpowers so that we can build joyful\, loving\, empowering and engaging environments for children to heal\, grow and thrive. By presenting research and first hand lessons from the field\, Steve will share how optimistic leaders and care providers bring out the best in people and organizations - especially in challenging\, change-filled times.\n\n \n\nSteve Gross\, M.S.W.\, is the Founder and Chief Playmaker of the Life is Good Kids Foundation\, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that partners with leading childcare organizations to positively impact the quality of care delivered to the most vulnerable children. Steve is a pioneer in utilizing playful engagement and meaningful relationships to overcome the devastating impact of early childhood trauma.\n\n\n\nSteve's talents have been called upon to respond to some of the greatest catastrophes of our time\, including the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina\, earthquakes in Haiti and Japan\, and the 2012 Newtown school shooting. At the heart of his work\, Steve helps others discover the power of optimism so that they can build resilience and bring greater joy\, connection\, courage and creativity to their lives.\n\n \n\nPRESENTING SPONSOR: Schneider Electric\n\n \n\nAWARDS: The Success & Service Awards\, recognize our members for their outstanding contributions to the Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce in 2017\, as well as their dedication to the communities of Foxborough\, Mansfield\, and Norton.\n\n\n\nWinners of the Awards will be announced at the luncheon \n\nNOMINATIONS OPEN Click Here \n\nsee Award History Below\n\n \n\nADDED EXPOSURE AT THIS POPULAR EVENT: Become a Centerpiece (Floral arrangement on the Table with your Business Name on the arrangement) Sponsor $100\n\n_________________________________________\n\n\n\nAWARD HISTORY.... \n\nBusiness of the Year: -recognizing the business organization whose outstanding contributions make them a leader within the Chamber as well as the community at large.\n\n1996: Automation Concepts and Technologies\n\n1997: Foxborough Savings Bank (now Rockland Trust)\n\n1998: Ro-Jacks Supermarkets\n\n1999: North Easton Savings Bank\n\n2000: Foxboro Company (Invensys)\n\n2001: Hockomock Area YMCA\n\n2004: DSA Foxboro Terminals\n\n2005: W/S Development \n\n2006: Samsonite\n\n2007: Mansfield Bank\n\n2008: Invensys\n\n2009: Covidien\n\n2010: Holiday Inn Mansfield/ Foxboro\n\n2011: North Easton Savings Bank\n\n2012: Foley & Foley PC\n\n2013: ESP Solutions\n\n2014: Barrows Insurance Agency\n\n2015: Mansfield Bank\n\n2016: Xfinity Center\n\n2017: Nominations Open \n\n \n\n \n\nBusiness Person of the Year: - recognizing the individual businessperson that has demonstrated qualities of exemplary community leadership\, within the Chamber as well as the community at large.\n\n1996: Ed Tartufo\n\n1997: Jay Barrows\n\n1998: Bill Buckley Sr.\n\n1999: Tricia White\n\n2000: Terry McLaughlin \n\n2001: Chris Rappold\n\n2004: Deb Crowell\n\n2005: Kara Griffin\n\n2006: Debbie Nichols\n\n2007: Emily Miller\, Catherine Ellsworth\n\n2008: Kristi Johnston\n\n2009: Greg and Kathy Spier\n\n2010: Ellyne Fleshner\n\n2011: Ingrid Williams\n\n2012: Joan Gagnon\n\n 2013: Jen Vondenbrink\n\n 2014: Kelly Fox\n\n2015: Cindy Peterson \n\n2016: Anne Langton\n\n2017: NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN
