Our all-volunteer composition means that all funds raised at our Annual Walk & Family Fun Day go directly to violence prevention & education in our local community\n\n \n\nWhat is H.U.G.S Foxboro \n\nH.U.G.S Foxboro was established in 2002. It is a local non-profit organization and is funded by grants and tax-deductible private donations. As such it is registered as an IRC Section 501(c)(3) organization and has been given tax-exempt status.\n\n \nH.U.G.S Foxboro works in collaboration with the Foxboro Police\, Foxboro Council on Aging\, and the Human Services to help victims of domestic violence by:\n\n\n	Providing the Foxboro police department with phone cards and gift cards for individuals escaping from a domestic violence situation.\n	Offering taxi vouchers to transport victims to court\, counseling\, or shelters\n	Offering lock changes\n	Referrals to a local domestic violence support group and a Foxboro community social worker\n	Working with the schools and community to provide programs that create awareness and educate about violence\n\n WEBSITE: http://www.hugsfoxboro.org
