
ANNUAL MEETING Feb 8th Holiday Inn Mansfield, Sponsored by Invensy’s
The Chamber’s annual meeting was attended by 140 Chamber members, and we were treated to not only a fabulous lunch but a test by speaker Susan Rooks of Grammar goddess, to test our knowledge of grammar in our business writing. The Chamber also gave out our Success and Service Awards to those businesses and individuals who throughout the year donated both their time and in some cases finances to the Chamber and to the communities we serve.

Emily Miller and Catherine Ellsworth accepted the Business Person of the Year Award, both are from Hands-On Montessori School.

Randy Smith accepted the Directors Award and was also one of the recipients of the Presidents Award. Randy is the owner of Management Financial Services.

Chamber Ambassador Award: After over 13 years of services as an active member of the ambassadors team, Paul Frank of Homefinders Real Estate is stepping down. Thank you Paul!

Chamber Board Members, as well as Mansfield Town Manager and Selectman, present at TD Banknorth Ribbon Cutting on January 16, 2008. TD Banknorth Vice President, Richard Schanck presented Westside Benevolent Circle with a check for $5000 at the event.
FEBRUARY 2007—lou masiello, w/s development, mansfield crossing
Members of local boards as well as community and state liasons came to celebrate and assist in the groundbreaking ceremony at Mansfield Crossing on Thursday, October 12, 2006. Mansfield Crossing is a 400,000+ square foot retail facility located on School Street in Mansfield will be known as an “outdoor lifestyle mall”, Lou Masiello of W/S Development has been working for three years to get approval for this project.
Congratulations to all those who worked so diligently to make this a reality. As our President Jay Barrows said, “Dig in! We have work to do!”
